Our renovation was truly extensive, just short of a new build and JLV built us a solidly constructed house where my mother really feels at home.

We certainly had some items that were difficult to source given the lockdown-era lead times and we had also requested some changes during the build, but JLV did a good job handling all of this. So many aspects of the build were done exceptionally well from the beginning.

Of course, there were a few hiccups along the way. In the face of that, what I really appreciated was how serious both Jose and Kirk were about addressing any aspect where things were less than perfect. In my experience, JLV not only built us a wonderful home but have ensured that it stays that way.

JLV recently did a major renovation to our house including a full kitchen, master bathroom, and guest bathroom remodel. They completed the remodel in five and a half months, which was under their estimated six month timeline. The renovation was designed by GOAT (a local Architecture and Interior Design firm) and construction was completed in April 2024.

We were lucky to find JLV construction. We talked to a few contractors on a major home renovation in New Orleans, we went with Jose and team for his considerate approach to the project, give-and-take on recommendations, and touring some of his other projects.
